On the left the adjustment of the wall mount. On the right the magnets on the outdoor sensor. We'll attach this sensor to the chassis under the drawbar.
The weather station now has a small bracket on the back that fits into the adapted wall mount. When driving, we remove the weather station from the wall mount. But the outdoor sensor stays in place.
Comments and questions:
Eriba_addict: So you just drive on the highway with that outdoor sensor attached to the drawbar chassis? Answer: Yes, the sensor is magnetically attached. The advantage of that location is that it's always in the shade. You could also mount it elsewhere and then power it without batteries, and that also applies to the receiver. But for now, we're using old-fashioned batteries...
Mike S: I heard that a weather station receives a signal from the sensor every 30 seconds, which disrupts the operation of the Reich mover. Since you have a Reich mover: does this sound familiar? Answer: Yes, Mike, our mover also stops working at the most unexpected times. We haven't tried it without the weather station yet. But that's why we also added Bluetooth control with an app for your phone. For more on that, see: Mover battery
